This Baobab tree was a project made for a kindergarten in Stade, Germany. It is not only fun, creative wall decoration, but also a practical piece of furniture, i.e. a coat hanger.
It is made of MDF board, that has been hand carved to shape, which gives it 3D appearance.
This decorative lamp was just a study project in use of various materials combined in one product. It is made of soapstone, alder wood and various metal parts.
Each part (with exception of electrical fittings) has been 100% hand made utilizing various techniques, tools and materials.
